What physiological changes occur during cardiovascular stress response?
Definition
Increased heart rate and blood pressure, activates sympathetic nervous system and arteries are relaxed

what is atherosclerosis and how does stress contribute to it?
Definition
fat builds up in the arteries and it can cause a heart attack and its a cycle, if your stressed your heat beats faster but it wont be able to circulate blood because your arteries are clogged so you have a heart attack.

What kinds of experiences or circumstances result in cardiac stress response being activated?
Definition
When someone gets shocking news (wife dies, losst job, win lottery) you weep you rant and you start to hyperventilate and you have  a heart attack.

Definition
Long term stressors are life threatening and short term stressors are good and beneficial
