In the 17th century, the Spaniards have a special devotion to the Blessed Virigin is said to appeared to Fr. Chaminade, on a pillar. They erected a grandiose basilica who houses the pillar. It was there, before the pillar, Fr. Chaminade had his "vision" which was to chart the future ciurse of his work.
