Cards Term Word wrap Definition When reaching the right margin, a text line will continue to the next line without pressing the Enter key Term Enter key Definition The key which will move the cursor to the next line, or perform a previous command Term Insertion Point, Cursor Definition The point where the next character will appear Term Delete, and backspace Definition Two keys which will "erase" either a character to the left, or right, of the cursor Term Caps Lock Definition A key which will make all letter keys to print as Capitals Term autorepeating Definition A setting which means a key will repeat a character as long as it is held down Term Screen views: Normal, Page Layout: Definition Different ways of viewing a document Term Text Definition the part of a document composed of words, and characters Term Graphics Definition Graphics are illustrations, photos or designs used to give a document interest Term Font, typeface Definition A font is a set of alphabetic characters designed in a specific style and size Term Search and Replace Definition A command to search for a particular character or word, and replace with another Term Navigation keys (arrows, Home, End, etc.) Definition keys to move the cursor around in a document quickly Term File name Definition A name given to designate a document from others Term Folder Definition An organizational tool to separate documents Term Drive letter Definition The designation of particular fixed or removable media drive Term Floppy (that isn't) Definition A square cover for removable media to store data. This is the smallest capacity of removable media. Term SAVING, and Saving AS Definition "Saving as" is used to give a new name to a file, where "Save" overwrites what was saved the last time
