begin fanning off air pressure by rapidly applying/releasing service brake; LOW AIR PRESSURE GAUGE should activate before pressure drops below 60 psi; continue to fan off air pressure until emergency brakes pop out at 40 to 20 psi (SPRING BRAKES)
