-preconscious -The part that is not in current   

  awareness but is easily accessible to awareness

-unconscious -those aspects of the mind that

  cannot be easily accessed in awareness

Id -seeks to fulfill all of our needs and instincts operates based on the Pleasure Principle

Superego -upholds moral and personal standards operates based on the Morality Principle

Ego –operates based on the Reality Principle the mediator

Reality anxiety – (also is state anxiety)

Neurotic anxiety -fear that your id impulses will be expressed

Moral anxiety -fear that you experience when your superego’s standards have been or are about to be violated
