Diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis -- ACR Criteria
Definition

5 of 7 must be present

  • Morning stiffness > 1 hr duration
  • Arthritis of 3 or more joint groups w/ soft tissue swelling or fluid
  • Swelling involving one or more of the following: wrists, PIP, MCP
  • Symmetrical joint swelling
  • Subcutaneous nodules
  • Positive RF (> 1:80)
  • Radiographic changes consistent with RA
