I = Interphase

The resting stage of the cell 

P= Prophase 

This is the stage where Chromotids join and Expand

M= Metaphase

Chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell

A=  Anaphase

Chromosomes move to each side of the cell

T= Telophase

 A nuclear membrane forms around the chromosomes

C= Cytokinesis

The cell pinches into two cells closing the cell membrane
