NREM sleep comprises about 75% of total sleep and consists of 4 stages:
- Stage 1, 5% of sleep time. lite sleep
- Stage 2, 50% of sleep time. lite
- Stage 3, 10% of sleep time. deep sleep time (Delta or slow-wave sleep)
- Stage 4, 10% of sleep time. (Delta or slow-wave sleep)
