It is called MDMA. It is a synthetic chemical that can be derived from an essential oil of the sassafras tree that speeds up the nervous system and acts as a mood enhancer. Ecstasy is one of the most dangerous drugs threatening young people today. It is a drug that acts as both a stimulant and hallucinogen.

Producing an energizing effect, as well as distortions in time and perception and enhanced enjoyment from tactile experiences. It is toxic to nerve cells that contain serotonin and can cause long-lasting damage to these brain cells. It increases heart rate and blood pressure. It interferes with the body’s ability to control its temperature.
