Definition
The horse can see out of the right eye and the left eye totally independently. It is essential for teh horses survival by increasing the animals ability to see and sense danger from which it can run away.

Definition
Both eyes are working in unison. The horse uses binoular vision to look head on to something. It is the only area that a horse sees in three dimensions. It allows the horse better depth perception. Does not work for first 4-6 feet in front of horse.
