Cards Term Central Arc Definition Angle formed by 2 radii. Term Arc Definition Part of the circumference of a circle. Term Minor arc Definition Arc less than 180 degrees. Term Major Arc Definition Arc greater than 180 degrees. Term Semicircle Definition Arc that is equal to 180 degrees. Term Congruent arcs Definition Arcs with the same degree measurements. Term Measure of Minor Arc Definition Congruent to the arc's central angle made by it. Term Measure of Major Arc Definition 360 degrees minus the minor arc left over. Term Thm. Definition Congruent arcs have congruent chords in the same circle. Term Thm. (also a Converse Thm.) Definition If a diameter is perpendicular to a chord, then it biscents the chord and it's arc. Term Thm. Definition 2 chords are congruent if they are equidistant from the center.
