Postmodernism
Definition
At the heart of Postmodernist art (also called Deconstructionism or Post-Structuralism) is the premise that artworks contain hidden "hierarchies" of meaning.

In other words, any artworkd has an agenda, or point of view.

The preferred mediums for many of these artists were those of mass media: Photography, electronic signs, billboards, and videos.
