Effectiveness

1. Refers to the completion of tasks on time.

2. It is only concerned with the end result.

3. Refers to producing target production on time.

Efficiency

1. Refers to the completion of tasks with minimum cost.

2. It is concerned with cost benefit analysis i.e., optimum utilisation of resources.

3. Refers to producing target production with minimum cost.

Management is the process of getting things done and achieving group goals efficiently and effectively.

1. Process- A series of steps or functions required in order to get things done. These steps include planning, organising, directing, staffing and controlling.
2. Effective and efficient performance- Effective performance is completing tasks on time. Efficient performance is ensuring the optimum utilisation of resources.
3. Achievement of group goals- All managers should direct their functions and activities towards the achievment of a common organisational goal. This goal should be the goal of every individual employee and must be considered a common goal.
