A - Depress the scapula, Abduct the scapula, Tilt the scapula anteriorly, Assist in forced inhalation

O - Third, fourth, and fifth ribs 

I - Coracoid proces of the scapula 

A - Adduct the shoulder, Medially rotate the shoulder, Assist in elevating the thorax in forced inhalation, Flex the shoulder, Horizontally adduct the shoulder, Extend the shoulder

O - Medial 1/2 of clavicle, sternum and cartilahge of 1-6 ribs

I - Crest of greater tubercle of humerous 

A - Abduct the scapula, Depress the scapula, Hold the medial border of the scapula against the rib cage, May act in forced inhalation

O - Surfaces of upper 8 or 9 ribs

I - Anterior surfaceof medial border of the scapula 

A - Elevate the Scapula, Downwardly rotate the scapula, Laterally flex the head and the neck, Rotate the head and the neck to the same side, Extend the head and neck

O - Transverse process of 1-4 cervical vertebrae

I - Upper region of medial border and superior angle of the scapula
