Different families worship different gods, though they mainly focus on Brahma, the preservor, Vishnu the preservor and Shiva the destroyer of evil and ignorance. It is famous because it is popular and flexible with no set dogma. Other religions were absorbed into it.

Definition
Monsoons come north from the seas during summer; since it arrives via the ocean, it has time to gather rain. In the winter, it comes down from the north and has no water to absorb. It is the dominant wind and predictable weather pattern in India.

Definition
The rain shadow is when rain falls on one side of the mountain and not the other.
It gets its name because the dry side ofthe mountain is in the shadow of the rain.

Godse believed that Gandhi had betrayed his own land. Godse was captured. Gandhi's family begged not to let him be killed, though he later was.

Hinduism believes in reincarnation after death. You must do dharma to make up for your karma, or your sins, until you die sinlessly. Doing dharma makes good karma. If you get perfect karma, you will join the gods.
