1-2 hours before end of shift, take a moment to ask
What went well?

What didn't go well?

What one thing will you do differently next time?  

Internally count for 7 seconds before answering questons

Remember the importance of stories

Start with the NEED to know, if there is time you can also address the NICE to know

Clinical reflecting, and journaling, is helpful for processing and learning

Phone numbers
