this is the adult male pinworm, in this photo you can see how the tail and the head are curved. Usually it is just the tail that is coiled (this hooks around the female for mating). If curious, you can tell the head apart from the tail (when both are coiled) by the pharynx and esphogyeal bulb.

This is an Ascaris Egg

The dry mount is not as clear as the wet mount. Note the tan color, which may me refered to as a honeycomb like appearance. This is the mammalated, bumpy shell. 

It is on 40X and is 25 um by 30um

This is a cross section of the adult, female ascaris. Note the different parts .

This is 2500 um

There are more details about this picture in the lab notes, but important things to notice are the smooth muscle layer which look like villi and the cuticle.

Enterobius, Adult, Female. **Pinworm**

For the most part, this is the same thickness throughout. It is more regular than the whip worm. Note the pointed head, it is pointed on both sides of the  adult.

Note the presence of eggs in this adult, this indicates it is a female pinworm
