Bacterial vaginosis shows an increase in the number of slough vagina cells, these cells are called "clue cells".
Bacterial vaginosis represents a pungent "fishy" odor that is more distressing than vaginal discharge. The stong odor is due to the metabolic products produced by the vaginal anaerobes. |
