Reading Strategies
Definition
Before reading: Hi-light titles, subheadings, bold print or underlines words, make a prediction, and hi-lite key words in the questions. Skim over the story and look up any words you don't know.

During reading: Read the story through. And read it one more time, this time you write a main idea in the note section.

After reading: Be careful to answer the question. You can look back the story to check your answers. Write the paragraph number that influenced your answer. Skip the questions that you think it's difficult, and circle 'em, you can answer 'em later.
