* Prognosis - Doctors prediction of how a disease or illness will progress.

a. Major depression - extremes mood of mania or depression

b. Dysthymia - A mild form of depression

3.Bi Polar - a mental abnormality involving swings of mood from mania to deep depression

c.Seasonal Affective Disorder - depression believed to be caused by deprivation of sunlight 

d. Dual Diagnosis - Mental disorder compounded with drug/alcohol problems

c.Dissociative Identity - aka Multiple Personality Disorder 

a.Hypochondriasis - involving excessive concern about health and disease

b.Psychosomatic Illness - illness affecting mind (psycho) and body (somatic)

c.Body Dysmorphic Disorder- convinced that something is wrong with physical appearance

Anorexia - eating little or no food to maintain an image of skinny or thin.

Bilimia - eating binge, then purging themselves of the food

a psychotic disorder involving distortion in thoughts ,perception and emotion

a. Paranoid Delusions - delusions of perception

b. Grandeur Delusions - belief that your something your not, better than everyone. larger than life

c. Delusions of Reference - belief that outside events, objects, behaviors of others, etc., have a particular significance to oneself

d. Delusions of Control - Im in control of you, someone is controlling me. Someone always in control 

(ex) Jeffrey Dahmer

e. Delusions of Persecution - beliefs that people are out to "get you" in some way. They are trying to get you fired, cheat you, poison you etc.
