Definition
Income levels for women are much lower than for men.
Income for white men are highest, black men lowest.
Income for black women are highest, and are same as black men… black women, however, sometimes work more than one job in order to support household (most of times they are married to black men)

→ Hispanics usually have lowest level of education.
→Teachers with less than 3 years experience teach in schools with mainly minorities at twice the rate than they teach in schools with mainly whites. (basically, minorities are being taught by less experienced teachers)

→ Hispanics are least likely to have health insurance
→ Blacks are twice as likely compared to whites to die from disease, accident, or murder at every stage of life.

1. Black person who is arrested is 3X more likely to be sent to prison than a white person (for the same crime).
2. Black person’s prison sentence is about 6 months longer than a white person’s (for the same crime).
3. Blacks are less likely to get probation (for the same crime)
