When Vespucci found out about how Columbus found America, he told everyone. Then everyone, even Columbus, went back to explore the Americas. The Columbian exchange was started and so was the triangular trade. They also traded goods from new worlds to the old world and vise versa. They also needed to conquer the Americas so that they could form colonies. More explorers came back so they could claim land for Spain. They needed or wanted gold and traded and started slavery. They built plantations and slaves on them were treated cruely.
