Action / Kinetics

Anticholergenic that inhibits acetlychloine in the parasympathetic neuroeffector junction.  Blocks vagel effects on the SA and AV nodes which enhances conduction through the AV node and increases heart rate.

Hemodynamically Significant Bradycardia

Asystole

Organophosphate Poisoning

Nerve Agent Exposure

PEA with Slow Complex Rate

Hypersensitivity

Glaucoma

Obstructive Disease of the GI or GU Tracts

Postural Hypotension, Blurred Vision, Dry Mouth

GI Reflux, Nausea, Vomiting

Paralytic Ileus, Tachyarrhythmia, Urinary Retention

0.1 mg/ml total of 10 ml equal 1mg of Atropine

Multidose Vial 20 ml with .4 mg/ml to a total of 5 mg
