Diagnosis: identification of oocysts in stool sample via acid-fast stain technique, PCR testing
Zoonotic: yes

Clinical Signs:pyrexia, profuse malodorous diarrhea with mucous and blood, oral ulcers, coughing, abortions, and stillbirth
