Definition
A finacial panic that brought the economic expansion that followed the war of 1812 to a close and resulted in bank failures, mortgage foreclosures, and wide spead unemployment. Causes by decline in cotton prices contradiction of credit by the national bank. raised hostility on banks that supported monopolies.

When a confederation on Indians went east of the Mississippi river to fufill a dream of a time with out white men. James Madison sent William Henry Harrison to stop the Indians. Six americans die, 100 injured. 1,000 indians killed.
