(381) the key issue of the council of Constantinolpe was the Divinity of the Holy Spirit. The winner of the council were the Capadocian Fathers who focused on the Holy trinity, and the holy spirit as divine. The losers were the Pneumotomachians who were the spirit fighters, Who didn’t believe that the holy spirit was divine. Some formulas that were developed included that the spirit “proceeds from the father” “together with the father and son” and that “the spirit was worshiped and we only worship what is God”

(431) The key issue of the council of Ephesus was the humanity of Christ and also Mary as the mother of God (Theotokos). The winner of the council was Cyril of Alexandria who believed that Mary was the mother of God, and that Christ was Divine. Nestorius wass the loser and he didn’t believed Christ was fully divine, and that Mary was mother of human Christ. Some formulas that were developed dealt with “Mary as mother of Divine and Human Christ” and “Christ is the union of 2 natures.

Definition
(451) The key issue of the council of Chalcedon dealt with the humanity of Christ, and the question that arose was Christ in two natures. The winner was Pope Leo who focused on the Divnity of Christ. The loser was Eutycheus who said that Christ was Human with a divine mind, follower of Arius. Some formula’s that were developed dealt with Christ was “unconfusedly, unalterably, undividedly, inseperably” also “Christ is “1 person in 2 natures”
