C/I: caution with anticoagulants/antiplatelet therapy

Medicinal Actions: leaf is astringent and anti-diarrheal.  peripheral vascular disorders. venous disorders including hemorrhoids during pregnancy. hypoglycemic effect. collagen strenghtening effects and inhibtion of sorbitol formation protects vascualture from diabetic complications. reduce serum cholesterol and triglycride leves may prevent ateriosclerotic plaque formation as well.
