0: Allah

contains all of the divine and beautiful attributes. includes the idea of non-resemblance to creation and inherent perfection of Allah.

1: Rahman

Beneficient, Compassionate

includes mercy and good for all creation 

2: Rahim

Most Merciful

this reflects mercy to the good believers.

Rahman is in relation to the world and the nafs.

Rahim is in relation to the afterlife and the heart. 

3: Malik

King, Soveriegn, Absolute Ruler

any power that humans have is a temporary trust and manifestation of this, but the eternal and complete power is only with Allah. 

4: Quddus

Pure, Perfect, Holy

our senses are limited and we can't perceive this attribute through them. the only receptacle is a pure heart. 

5: Salam

Source of Peace and Safety

nothing from Allah is harmful overall. even in pain is a blessing. patience is also a manifestation of this. 

6: Mumin

Illuminator of Faith, Granter of Security

when we take refuge in Allah, we are taking refuge in this aspect of Allah, since with faith comes ultimate security to the servant. 

7: Muhaymin

Guardian, Overseeing Protector

nothing escapes His attention for even a moment. this attribute watches good deeds for full reward, and bad deeds for exact punishment. 

8: Aziz

Victorious, Almighty

His will is greater than any force in the universe (the only force). Yet still He delays His punishment.  

9: Jabbar

Repairer of the Broken, Restorer, Compeller

everything in the universe is forced into His submission, whether it desires such or not. He is also the One that we run to after we have rebelled and have become broken. 

10: Mutakabbir

Greatest, Tremendous

this aspect is only fit for Allah, and just as when Satan was proud and thereby humiliated by Allah, when the believers try to take this on, they will as well.
