**main priority is all surgical pts**

• communiticate w shift supervisor-be on time
• ensure surgical animals are fasted-remove water
• no treats, kongs or water
• medicate post surgical pts
• document info in med. log
• document info in post surgical pt's records
• examine pt's incisions, e-collar & IV cath site
• remove sutures if applicable
• note in pt file info re: incision site & sutures
• perform tasks assigned by shift super.
• full credit subject to shift super & kennel mgr
