It is an example of a relief sculpture. Represents the Egyptian canon where the suject has one foot infront of the other and the body is stiff.

Details: Was tomb for a Queen of the middle kingdom, the tomb was built into a mountain side to show unity with nature, and the tomb was placed at the back of the burial gorund as a protective measure against grave robbers.

Details: Made of Sandstone and stands 13' tall. Akhenaton changed the religion (disk of the sun) and developed a new figure type (long face, narrower eyes, round hips) because he is believe to have decents from other regions to account for his different physical features.
