-Feb 23, 1991 The U.S. launched "Operation Desert Storm" which lasted 4 days until Feb 27, 1991 when Saddam accepted a cease-fire and Kuwait was liberated

Definition
The pro-democracy demonstrators made a 35 ft tall statue and named it the "Goddess of Democracy." But the Chinese government would not allow this to happen any more and they sent in tanks and machine guns that killed hundreds of protesters. Many nations frowned upon this act but no one took action.
