§  Nathaniel Bacon and followers want to expand onto Indian land because Jamestown was crowded. The governor says no about that. It was a peaceful time with the Indians. They attack the land anyway, expecting the government to help. When there was no help given, they burn down the main road of the government of Jamestown. The Governor flees out of Jamestown. Six months later, Bacon died. His sickness was unknown. Governor returns and hangs followers.

§  Bacon was after land.

§  The effect was the wealthy people distrust poor/landless (troublemakers) people who need property to vote and hold office.
