  • The risk of getting ringworm can increase if you come in contact with a person who has a fungal infection or with a carrier, or a person who has the fungi but does not show any symptoms,if you have had a fungal infection,if you have an impaired immune system, and if you live in a warm, damp climate.

There is also a home treatment that you can treat with anifungal creams or ointments and many are available with out a prescription. And the treatment time is the same as going to a doctor but if you symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks than you are probably going to want to call your doctor.
