         An Amendment is the process of changing or upgradeing the law or a document to make it better.

2. Aristocracy 


Aristocracy is the highest class in some societys, a form of government where power is held by the nobilty and by best/small privllaged class.

  • A government in which power is in the hands of a hereditary ruling class or nobilty.

3.  Checks and balances 

 

A democratic rule that applys to the American government that uses checks and balances to help balance branches so that one does not have more power than the rest.

  •  from Montesquieu, a fundamental democratic principle of American government which ensures that one branch does not accumulate too much power.

4. Constitutionalism 

 

Where people believe that a government should follow the constitution and be based on it. And also have power limited by law.

A form of government named democracy, where political power is allowed to all citizens and all of them have a say/voice.

6. Direct Democracy

 

Just like democracy, direct democracy allows all citizens to participate in government. Citizens are allowed to create public policys as wwell and there are no representatives.

The executive is the section of the government where they make sure everything goes in place and the laws and the decisions.

Federalism is an Idea that supports that the government having a federal system.

9. Indirect democracy 

 

Just like Direct democracy, Indirect democracy allows all citizens to participate in the government. A change is that they are allowed to elect a representatives to vote on their laws for them.

In government Judical means something that has to do with law and maybe a judges decision. It is also a Branch from three in the federal government.

In government they allow other courts to do a Judical review on others departments or on the government in general.

A branch of the governement called Legislative that has the power and authority to create or change the laws.

Where a type of government has limited power that is limited and restricted by law.

A form of government that is ruled by Monarchy is a government ruled kings and queens (Inherited).

A small group of people, Oligarchy and who have control of a country, organization and institution.

16.Popular Sovereignty

 

Popular Sovereignity is a rule/ saying of the people of the American system government that says thatp people are the source and reason of any and all governments.

  • basic principle of the American system of government which asserts that the people are the source of any and all governmental power, and government can exist only with the consent of the governed (p 70).

Overall a preamble means the introductiction for a story, document etc. 

Definition

a statement at the beginning of a book, document, or talk, explaining what it is about.

Ratify is the action of signing a document to make the agreement for sure.

to make a written agreement official by signing it.

19. Republic 

 

A republic is a system in the government where it allows citizens the power to vote for people to represent them.

  •  A political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who can elect people to represent them.

20. Separation of powers

 

 

Where the three branches in governement are divided through the separation of power.

Definition

division of governmental authority among the three branches of government: executive, legislative, and judicial branch. The US Constitution uses this principle in setting the presidency, the Congress, and the courts.

A government that is a tyranny and has control over people in unfair ways and clue ways.

Definition

   cruel or unfair control over other people and/or cruel and unfair government.

A statement that is written so that the U.S bill of rights has the important rights of citizens down by law.

Definition

a written statement of the most important rights of the citizens of a country, part of the U.S. Constitution.
