Personal opinion: Give reasons why. 1. Hippocrates

4. Alexandria

-eg. I think that the Greeks did help the progress of medicine as there were numerous Greek philosophers / doctors who were famous foe having theories about everything and made contributions to medical advances such as Hippocrates who helped communication of treatments / symptoms to be passed down to be developed for better medical care. This meant that parts of the body were identified, understood. For example the Brain controlling the body. Therefore new treatments developed such as Bleeding, Diet and Excercise (pride in their bodies - a run before breakfast) and Personal Hygiene. This all helped to prevent illness and to move away from supernatural beliefs.
