The Great Wall
Definition
Located in Northern China. 212 BC. First Emperor, King Zang, was the reason the wall was built. It took place during the Qin dynasty. Its started in 6th century and has been rebuilt and rebuilt and maintained through the 16th century. Intended for defence against the Nomadic Tribes in inner Asia.

Definition
Known as China's Sorrow because it is known for flooding but in some areas may lead to drought in the south. extremly prone to flooding.Longest river in china flowing through 9 provinces.Flows from north to south. Creates very fertile land that is easy for agricultural advancement. very wide, with banks a mile or more apart in places.

Definition
Rises in tibetan highlands crosses mountians encircling sichan basin. Makes land suitable for rice cultivation and double cropping. Makes south able to use boat travel. Major transportation artery connects he interior to the coast.

Between yellow and yangzte. Division between northern and southern china. it does not flow all the way to the coast which makes it prone to floating.

Definition
AKA the Yin. The second chinese dynasty. ruled in the northeastern region known as china proper. Its civilization was based on agriculture, augmented by hunting, and animal husbandry. Shang infantry were armed with a variety of stone or bronze weaponry.

Definition
During the Zhou, the use of iron was introduced to China. Preceded by the Shang and existed prior to the Qin. When alot of the great chinese philosphers were in china near the 6th century, including mencius. They invoked the mandate of heaven.Agriculture was also very extensive in the Zhou and all farms were owned by nobles.
