Term
Explain the difference between an agonist and antagonist. Use an exercise as an example.
Definition

An agonist will contract to cause an action, while the antagonist is the muscle opposite of the agonist.

For example, in a dumbbell bicep curl, when you curl the dumbbell up, the bicep contracts (agonist) and the tricep will be the antagonist muscle.

When you lower the dumbbell, the tricep is now the agonist muscle and the bicep is the antagonist.
