Brahmans carried out trade, architecture, service, etc. Gupta rulers were Vaishayas, Kshtriya’s practiced industrial vocation. Sudras were engaged in trade and agriculture. Women had secondary-position; they could obtain education. Hinduism and Buddhism were the religions followed.

Homes were typically one room huts made of wood or bamboo with thatched roofs. The villages were full of narrow and twisting streets that were lined with stalls for selling things. People walked anywhere they wanted to go.
