What is the Future Tense?
In English, the future tense is expressed by the "modal" form (will) to indicate something that will take place in the time to come. In Spanish, the same tense is constructed with the ending added on to the stem base of the infinitive

Mañana llamaré a Marta por teléfono - Tomorrow I will phone Marta
Estudiaremos la lección mañana - We will study the lesson tomorrow

Yo iría a la casa de Laura, pero ella no está allí - I would go to Laura's home, but she isn't there
Iríamos a España, pero no tenemos el dinero - We would go to Spani, but we don't have the money
