| In the prehistoric times people were hunters and gatherers and hunted only for food. In the 13th century asia had the first regulation on game, only the upperclass could hunt. In the 1500s Europe started regulation on waterfowl. In the Era of Abundance the people of Jamestown starve until more colonists come that know how to hunt and gather and the colonists have an abundance of food. With the creation of the telegraph and locomotive comes the depletion of bison and passenger pigeons because of how easy hunting now is. In 1872 yellowstone becomes the first national park and in 1887 the Boone and Crocket Club is established. In 1900 the Lacey act was passed, 1934 the Duck Stamp Act was passed, 1964 the Wilderness Act was passed, 1966 the Endangered species act is passed and the EPA is established. |
