What is the default location for a VM to store it's files?
Definition
The default location for VM configuration files to be stored is a named folder (usually that of the VM) on the datastore that the VM was created(referred to as the “working directory”).

You can use Storage Profiles to use predetermined settings to place disks on the proper datastore. You could also manually chose to change the location of a virtual disk. You could change locations of the swap files.

Name two locations that advanced VM parameters can be added
Definition
1. Manually add to a VM's .vmx file (VM must be powered off to do so)
