El Pachuco in Zoot Suit
Definition
The Term "Pachuco" was a racial put down that the Mexican-Americans adopted as their own. The character "El Pachuco" represents all the characters of Zoot Suit, the God of the play, a god of the play world and the alter ego of Henry Rena, all at the same time. Sometimes apart of the action in the scenes, sometimes above the action.
