Euryalus (Euryalos) - Strong, athletic young Phaeacian who insults Odysseus thinking his refusal to compete was because Odysseus was not an athlete. He is obliged to make recompense to Odysseus. It is thought that handsome Euryalus is comparable to Ares and clever Odysseus to Hephaestus in the 8th Book of the Odyssey since it is there that the story is told of Hephaestus cleverly capturing Ares in a net with Aphrodite.

Nausicaa - Daughter of Queen Arete and King Alcinous, Nausicaa helped Odysseus when he was stranded and says she wants a husband like him. She looks like the goddess Artemis.
