Herman Talmadge starts a campaign for people to go vote and write in his name. Talmadge motion was for the Legislature to only vote on and choose the Governor. Herman Talmadge elected 2:1 but a reporter finds 58 missing votes that were made up. Courts ruled that Legislature broke the law by electing Talmadge. M.E. Thompson was the other candidate along with the standing Governor Arnall.
