Definition

ALL solutions containing Na+1, K+1, H+1, or NH+1 are ALWAYS soluble



Examples: NaClO3, KCl, HF, o NH4OH

ALL solutions containing C2H3O2-1, NO3-1,or ClO3-1 are ALWAYS soluble.



Examples: Ca(C2H3O2)2 or Ba(NO3)2 or Mg(ClO3)2

MOST Chlorides, Bromides, and Iodides are soluble EXCEPT Ag-1 and Pb+2



Example: MgCl2 or CuI are soluble BUT AgCl (white) or PbI2 (yellow) are insoluble.
