 There are three forms of a ratio:

   -Word Form - 3 girls to 4 boys

   -Colon Form - 3:4

   -Fraction Form - 3/4

Order is very important!

example:  5/8, 6/12

a point between a whole number and a decimal fraction   (.)

example 5.23

a decimal which has repeating digits

or repeating pattern of digits.

- a decimal which has a finite number of digits.

- it comes to an end and doesn't go on forever.
