When the British left for the winter, the Beothuk came out of hiding. They took their tools and destroyed everything. The relationship got more violent when the British noticed their stuff gone. Many Beothuk were gunned down. Then, the British unintentionaly brought a deasese to NA. Many Beothuk caught it and died. Eventually the whole Beothuk people were gone except for one girl. She was brought back to Britain and she taught them about her culture until she died. |
