IF CCW, fix CCW

Motor Winding - maximize CAN Ventilation near that RCP. Available CFCUs in high speed.

Loss of seal injection AND < 2.5 gpm leakoff on any RCP - restore seal injection or raise VCT press >30 – 50 psi (prevents flashing in the line, even if there is cooling to TBHX)

Leakoff < .8 gpm or slowly approaching 6 AND temps are stable or lowering - ensure injection ≥ 9 gpm, commence orderly S/D, stop RCP w/in 8 hrs.

#2 Seal leakage by RCDT leak rate

Ensure injection > 9 gpm

Leakoff .5 - 1.1 gpm - continue operation

>1.1 - orderly S/D and stop RCP w/in 8 hrs

Total leak off from #1 & #2 seals

> 8 gpm - Attachment 2 (stopping RCPs)

Between 6 and 8 and temps not stable-Attachment 2

Between 6 and 8 and temps stable - orderly S/D within 8 hrs after rising > 6 gpm

Isolate and find w/ CC130s

Trip Reactor

 

Stop affected RCP(s)

 

Due to seal leakoff 6 gpm -

 

Simultaneously
Between 3-5 minutes after stopping pump, close the CV104
Confirm | EOP-TRIP-1, and continue with this Attachment.

 

Due to TOTAL LOSS of CCW -

 

Simultaneously
Isolate letdown and swap charging pump suction
Confirm | EOP-TRIP-1, and continue with this Attachment.

 

Otherwise, Confirm | EOP-TRIP-1, and continue with this Attachment.

 

If seal injection flow AND thermal barrier flow is lost,

 

All seal inlet temps <225°F – reestablish seal cooling

 

Any 225°F – cooldown and depressurize.
