        | A patroness member is a woman who is actively interested in community musical affairs, in the endeavors of the college and the program of the fraternity.  She is a fully initiated member of the fraternity and her initiation fee makes her a Life Member.        Patronesses provide a strong link between the school and the community and they sometimes help the college chapter financially and socially.  They may serve as the college chapter advisor, and they may also participate in alumnae chapter activities (but they can’t vote or hold office without receiving Fraternity Education for Patroness Members).   Patronesses may also attend all Ritual ceremonies.  Dr. Severine Neff is a patroness member at UNC. |  |
