-pancrease is effected therefore pt must take pancreatic enzyme supp before meals to help with absorption and pervent steatorrhea.
-eat meals high in protein & calorie
-Male patients are sterile because of CBAVD |

Treatment: oxy., bronchodilators, antibiotics, diuretics, steroids, high calorie feeds TPN.
Why TPN? They are poor feeders and they have increassed needs because they are working so hard to live. |
